The tragic passing of Andrew was untimely, cutting his life short. Born with a special purpose, Andrew was taken from the world too soon, leaving his family and friends to mourn his loss. In his short time with us, Andrew left a legacy of hope and courage that will live on for generations.
Andrew had a big heart and big dreams. He was passionate about life, had a deep sense of purpose, and was always the first to greet new students. He wanted to make the world a better place. He was the light at the end of the tunnel for many, always willing to lend a helping hand. His life was cut short when he passed away on January 3rd, 2017. Despite having asthma, he loved and played baseball and basketball. His vivid imagination allowed him to soar in the stories he wrote.
Andrew’s Healing Hands (AHH) was founded in 2019 in loving memory of Andrew Jayden Guadalupe, a bright and beautiful soul whose life ended far too soon in 2017. What began as a mother’s mission to honor her son’s legacy has grown into a community-driven nonprofit rooted in compassion and service. Based in New York City, AHH supports underserved families through food drives, clothing donations, and youth-centered volunteer programs. Every initiative is fueled by love, resilience, and the desire to bring healing to others—one family at a time.

We accept clothing and essential item donations by appointment only. Thank you for supporting our mission! Every donation helps us bring comfort and care to families in need.
Pickups are by appointment only and typically scheduled for the first and last Thursday of each month between 2–4 PM. Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
